Dana graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical engineering. She worked in medical research for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation: Lerner Research Institute before pursuing graduate education in prosthetics and orthotics. Dana earned her Master of Science at the University of Pittsburgh.  She practiced clinically in Southern California before transitioning into clinic
